On some of the Yucatan properties we represent, the owners are willing to finance. This financing is not done through the bank but directly with the owners via a legal contract which is signed in front of an official appointed lawyer (a Mexican Notario). Most of our clients are from the U. S. and Canada and the financing varies depending on the owner’s wants and needs.
An example of a financing option on the property for sale is 50% down, and the remaining balance in monthly payments for 5 years at a rate of 8% interest.
